By means of Law No. 11,314, the Belo Horizonte City Hall instituted the Belo Horizonte Aid Program, aimed at facing the social and economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Families registered in the Federal Government's Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico) until June 30, 2021 and those with a per capita family income of up to half the minimum wage are entitled to Belo Horizonte Aid. Previously registered families assisted by municipal public policies are also entitled to Assistance, in accordance with the law. With that, the Program foresees that the payment of the first benefit will be in December 2021.
