As of January 20, 2022, residents of Belo Horizonte will have two more places for COVID-19 testing: the universities FAMINAS and UNA. Appointments must be made exclusively through the Belo Horizonte City Hall Portal and the availability on the PBH APP will be made in the coming days. Opening hours will be from 8 am to 5 pm. The scheduling process is yet another partnership with Unimed-BH.

Initially, about 100 rapid antigen tests will be offered to the population at each of the institutions. The enlargement will be done gradually. The schedule will be available daily from 5 pm for appointments the next day. At the moment, the tests are stocked in more than 160 testing sites available in the municipality, among 152 Health Centers, nine UPAs and two Center for Respiratory Diseases (CEDOR).

This is another action by Belo Horizonte City Hall to ensure assistance to the population in dealing with the pandemic and in monitoring the evolution of cases in the municipality.
